I thought the CDG fares were crash hot, if you exit from another European port you save yourself that exit fee in France, using a return upgrade, this gives you a Paris trip in First class for just under 4500, that's good. HKG I can buy $350 better outside of Australia than the $3151 they are offering, but if you don't have this option, the fare is super. As I buy fares more for what they give me in awards, I see it differently to others. The Indonesian Malaysian and the Singapore specials are excellent even if you add on a cheap Garuda/MH/ or Air Asia fare from Australia. Then, when you have combined your Australian fare with the overseas fare, the end result is you end up with 2 fares for the price of one.
