The plot thickens. I just been through my stack of boarding passes (for flights where I was upgraded) from the previous month and found both ML*2 and ML*1 used on segments where I know for sure the GA lifted an upgrade coupon. A good number of upgraded passes have no ML* code -- and I noticed that none of my boarding passes issued through AC Kiosks have a ML* code.

Anyone know the real answer?
