Hi, first new thread in the AS forum -- I'm taking advantage of the sign-up bonus, and joining Mr. GLR as an AS FF. Long-time NW elite, fed up with DL (but grateful for the benefits they will extend to AS FF ). I've had a nice welcome and answers in the PDX promo thread.

Okay, so to get that 20K bonus I decided why just do a two segment/1000 mile run when I can double that for a few bucks and hours more? Only problem is I only get non-stops on the AS website, and trying multicity, the tried and true trick on UA, doubles the fare. Is there a workaround?
Otherwise, should I call, or book through a third-party site? Pros/cons? I searched, but only found threads from 5 years ago, where it seemed the poster had the same issue.
