I'm thinking about doing the same thing with my AA or United debit card but highly doubt that I can actually get the miles since it's a flat fee $3.89 service, likely it's being run as a special debit charge, otherwise someone is paying for those miles (obviously not enough to be covered by the $3.89 fee)
