From what I understand both of your flights will be non-complimentary food flights as you expect. The menus aren't out just yet AFAIK. But from news statements it would be sandwiches and snack foods and depending on the flight up to full meals.
They will accept debit & credit cards. BUT i wouldn't suggest using your canuck card. You'd possibly get a foreign transaction card. Just an annoying fee you can avoid.
