Actually, the couple of times I have looked at using points for RC stays, I found that availability was fairly decent. But my experience should be considered as very limited.

Of course I would guess that special events and dates (i.e. New Years, Super Bowl, etc.) availability would be either very limited or non-existent. I don't think that RC has to follow the "no black-out" days restrictions that other Marriott chains must follow.
