Hey Qantas folks; I am an AA flyer sticking with OneWorld for my trip to Australia and had a quick question about Economy Seats on the A380.

Sadly I had to pay for this one and cant use my AA miles for a class upgrade on Qantas and from what I hear they will not sell upgrades at check-in so I am going in economy with my girlfriend. Upon reading the seating guide I was curious if anyone with experience had a suggestion on which seats to take?

The flight is wide open so almost all seats are available; at the moment we took 80H/K with the hopes no one sits between us so we have some extra room. My first instinct had been to take 79H/J but I wondered how bad it was to be near the self-serve bar; would be terrible to have our feet kicked or stepped on constantly in the middle of an overnight flight. Any advice from you experienced Qantas travelers would be great!
