I would choose UA if you have access to Economy Plus. Or you can pay for an extra legroom seat on CX or SQ. SQ over CX if that's the choice and schedule is not a factor.
It depends on the person. I used to fly UA to HKG. I get Y+ and adjacent seat blocked. However, I still switched to CX and started as a nobody several years ago.
