as noted above the "lighter ban has been lifted. "supposedly" there is a limit as to the number of lighters and book (non-strike anywhere) matches you can carry but i have always carried 4 'bic" type lighters with me (1 in my pocket and 3 in my briefcase) and and never been questioned (and this was even during the lighter ban
