I haven't stayed at that RC, so I can't comment on it. But I can say that I have been offered to ability to upgrade my room for cash (but not points.) The Cayman RC offered something like an extra $100/night to upgrade to an Oceanfront club level room.

And BTW, congrats on getting the RC with points and enjoy your trip. ^
