The chart never changed since Airpoints turned into Dollars a few years ago. I suspect the chart was originally based on those countries Star Alliance members served at the time. Since then Star has admitted quite a few new members and has expanded the number of countries/regions served. I think internally NZ would have updated their system.

For example, Macau is not on the list but my flights on Shanghai Airlines were accrued correctly as in Asia.
