Next April my wife and I plan to tour Israel with a group. I am considering going out early, spending a few days a destination in that is in that general part of the world and joining the group in Israel.

I would like to find a route from SFO to TLV with a stopover on the way. I've got enough miles to book two business class tickets and would like to try to book saver awards if possible.

I'll looking for suggestions for that stopover destination, and which of the SA airlines might be best to fly in business class. Obviously I need a location that would qualify as far as routing goes. The only other requirement for me is the stopover destination needs to have a Marriott property as I'll use points for the stay.
