Will be in Munich for ten days and will be visiting Innsbruck and Berchtesgaden. I'm wondering about any other recommendations for day trips by train. I'm pretty familiar with Munich, have been to Neuschwanstein, and would really like to see a town/city that's maybe a bit off the beaten path.

I know this could go in the Germany forum, but wanted to post it here because would like to make the trip(s) by rail, quickly if possible.
