New Mississauga Transit Route 107–Malton Express to Westwood Mall

Starting next week, Mississauga Transit will provide a new limited-stop express service between the City Centre Transit Terminal (Square One) and Westwood Mall.

"The Route 107–Malton Express will offer passengers a faster way to travel between the City Centre Transit Terminal and Westwood Mall since the trip is about 25 minutes shorter than a comparable trip on other routes," said Director of Mississauga Transit Geoff Marinoff. "The service also stops at Viscount Station at Toronto Pearson International Airport for passengers who want to board the LINK Train to Terminal 1 or Terminal 3."

The service begins on Monday, March 22, 2010. It will be available from Monday to Friday during the morning and evening rush hours. Buses will depart stops every 15-16 minutes.

"Passengers on the Route 107–Malton Express will also benefit from convenient connections with Route 110–University – another limited-stop express service operating between the Clarkson GO Station; the UTM Campus; and City Centre Transit Terminal. This will reduce trip times in half for customers riding transit from Clarkson to Westwood Mall," explained Marinoff.

Identifying decals have been placed at all Route 107–Malton Express bus stops to help customers identify the service.
