The rule is cookies for flights of less than 100 (I think) minutes and sandwiches for flights of more than 100 minutes - that's why you're getting sandwiches on flights to ATH.
Rumour has it they are going to reintroduce sandwiches on some flights of between 70 and 100 minutes but only between 6 and 8 in the morning.
