"Worst international redeye breakfast ever. "

>>> Ah, try Finnair. Good planes but no food. Similar, muffin and juice. Whatever, you eat when you get there.

AA does serve a full breakfast in the morning(coach-I love AA's meals!), good omelette and a couple of sides. I am so amazed that they have kept the TWA service and planes this long. Usually, the new planes and service are integrated, must have been some agreement.

As I have said somewhere else on here, TWA had lousy service. Sometimes good domestically, but the int'l senior crews pretty much had tenure and could do what they want. My friends and I have had nasty experiences on them, in all classes.

FYI, good old Carl Icahn pissed these people off big time when he took over(and took over, junk bonds and all, is an understatement-he tried to buy my dad's measley stock). They had quality control(which I would think would be a good thing!? serice wise), but that angered the TWA people and changed their attitudes completely. My best friend's dad worked for TWA so had lot's of inside info. (and upgrades )

Anyway, stay away from STL and you should be good. Yes, the TWA people took the bottom of the totem pole, obv., as it would be unfair to stack them above long term, loyal AA crews. The TWA people are lucky to have a job. AA completely saved these people and they should be grateful, but doesn't sound like it. I had expected that airline to go out years ago, was a miracle that they had lasted as long as they did. It was Icahn's selling off the Heathrow routes, plus being the object of terrorism(like Pan Am) that just killed them off. So sad......Atleast to me, there is a sentimental value to TWA.
