EDIT to clarify this *was* indeed the ES Fallsview, as blackjack-21 points out below. I was stream-of-consciousness-posting from an earlier mention of the Embassy...
Stayed at the ES Fallsview this week. Very impressive views (39th floor, facing both falls, "front of hotel" mildly upgraded suite, I guess).
Breakfast good, a little crowded in the lines before seated in The Keg.
Ate at Keg the night before, kinda noisy... food fine, salads quite good, views great if you're in the front, but not some of the other rows.
"Valet" i.e., parking shuttle is a scam. Park a block away at the casino for $5, or pay $20 for a ride to the lot, or $30 for real valet. Not impressed with this feature.
You can't walk down to the falls (no fault of the hotels) as easily as you should, because tehre's a tourista trap "railway" that you pay $5 round trip to go the few feet where there could have been stairs, but instead the city planners made it hard to have to walk all the way around the town and block off the easy hill to walk straight down to the falls. Gripe there, but not against the hotel. Hotel had a free bus that picks up on the side of the hotel to take you down to the falls.
Things were clean, rooms a little on the older side, but not bad though... it's obviously all about the view here, and it does make up for some of the shortcomings.
