I never fly when I can drive in 3-4 hours or less. Considering I leave my house about 1.5 hours before a flight, the flight is 45-60 minutes, then when I get there I have to get to the rental car place, get the car and get on the road, you're looking at about the same amount of time and that's assuming the flight is not delayed.
