Here's an idea: Celebrity has an 8 night sailing on Century on a wine cruise Los Angeles - Vancouver 14 May 2011 with stops in San Francisco, Astoria, Nanaimo and Victoria, B.C. It's twice as long and a higher price but sort of fits the date. Any interest?
Something tells me Mrs. Bruin would be very interested in a wine cruise! Looks like it leaves from San Diego... LA would have been too convenient.
That said, we don't need to rush into anything, right? Still over 12 months to go.
