Just for the record...
... on November 23rd 2003, QF2901 set the record for the longest (or shortest, depending how you look at it) commercial domestic flight (14hrs 6 mins) travelling from Melbourne, Australia to Melbourne Australia (via a spot of Antarctic sightseeing and a rendez vous with the total solar eclipse!)
