The official T&C say benefits will apply to you and your spouse ONLY. As they don't check if the person is the spouse, most of us take that as a guest sharing the room. ANYTHING above that is EXTRA! and NOT to be expected. That said, my second room almost always gets the benefits too IF booked under my HHonors#.
Also you have to make sure the MyWay is set correctly. If you have extra points or internet, NO ONE will get anything else, including YOU. You MUST have MyWay set to upgrade/breakfast (or breakfast for HGI-upgrade NOT a stated benefit) in order to have that benefit for yourself, much less extended to a second room.
