Your choice and I don't fault you necessarily - just don't feel you absolutely have to go - it's just a large high end lounge. FCL B has the same stuff, shorter walk typically. Me? If doing non-Schengen to non-Schengen like you, I'd probably lounge hop as much as possible in the terminals.
Not that passport control is arduous but I'm only making the trek to the FCT if I have 8+ hours to kill - and this is because I would first be going into the city, or Mainz, and then returning to the FCT. Otherwise I'm schlepping to the nearest FCL and camping there.
