Not sure if car miles and hotel point conversion should be mentioned in the same sentence for posting times.

Granted I don't think it would take 60 days to process a conversion from either Marriott or Hilton to SkyMiles. I believe hotel chains put this in the T&C so they can have the option of holding back conversions until their next big purchase of blocks of miles from any airline. But even a posting time of one week, hardly outrageous, would post after April 30.

Converting on the 26th for a promo that ends on the 30th could be cutting it quite close. Delta has no control over what hotels report as a transfer date. So if the miles were to post onto a DL account on May 5 (for example) without any knowledge that the transfer was initiated on April 26 I would expect Delta not to post the 50% bonus. This really isn't unreasonable, mean spirited, or [insert other negative adjectives here]. For those that might have procrastinated its just tough luck... no offense intended. For those that only heard about the promotion as the promo period ends, well, same thing.

With most DL partner promos in the past few years there are usually many who have activities on the last day and complain horribly about how DL is trying to screw them out of miles when the posting date is outside the promo.

Best of luck to all that initiate hotel point conversions this week. I sincerely hope you all get your bonuses. However you might have a future fight on your hands and by "future" I mean:For the record, June 11 is exactly 6 weeks from April 30.
