Diamond benefits apply to multi-rooms booking?

A diamond member staying at HGI can get free hot breakfast for self and one guest in the room, but how about if I book 2 (or more) rooms in the same night, will all my guests get the same benefits as well?

What happened is I called to the hotel Sales Manager before making reservation, and was told even though it is "un-official" but it is a "general practice" that ALL my guests will get the same. And he also said do not tell he saied so, but ALL my giests will get the benefits. So I went ahead booked 5 rooms for a family re-union, all under my name in ONE reservation number.

Just called to the hotel for other issues and found out the front desk will give just myself and one guest the breakfast, instead of ALL guests in the 5 rooms.

I hate to call the Sales Manager arguing this but the free breakfast is part of the reasons we booked this HGI. Anyone had similar experience and how to deal with this? Reservation is pre-paid and can not be canceled.

How many Sales Manager in a HGI? I though just one, so did not bother to remember his name. I believed what he said, but now ........ VERY MAD.
