I am not disputing that AA oversells business class, (we very rarely oversell first on ANY route) but the level they oversell depends on the routing and frequency.

Example. I use to standby for flight AA107 (or AA141 before it was yanked) and it was never oversold, as it is the last AA flight of the day to JFK. If you check the AA101/105, they can be oversold by 8 in J. AA131 LHR-LAX, AA173 LGW-RDU and AA079 LGW-DFW are never oversold in J, as they are one a day flights, hence compensation will be higher.

Oldpenny, I have no idea what compensation would be offered, as I am not offered any being a NRSA, and being a NRSA, I pick flights that are not oversold!

Expect more oversales JFK and ORD when the old flights come back.
