Looks good, but as it does transmit it's position using GSM then this one is active not passive. Therefore will not be able to transmit position in-flight as will be out of range of the cellular infrastructure.

Although I guess most folks that want one of these are not too concerned when their baggage is in-flight, they want to know where it is when on the ground.

As for the safety, well the "mobile phones are highly dangerous and must be switched off", went the same way of the ash cloud...long before the ash cloud
