Some additional points to consider as you begin to plan:

1. Settle on your starting city first. Since fares from each European city are comparable you will want to consider positioning costs and the airlines that serve your starting point to Helsinki. The first airline used usually determines who issues the ticket and there are some consrquences to this, explained at length in previous threads.
2. Decide what cities are absolute musts on your itinerary. Can any be dropped for other routings that increase miles/minimize segments?
3. Remember the maximum number of segments, both overall and per continent for the ciontinent based tickets. You are below the overall max of 16 now.
4. If a primary consideration is miles and you have the time, consider adding another continent to swing through Latin America from LAX.
