AA flights from JFK to Europe, will they add more? (speculation)

I know they just added Madrid and I'm flying it this May, but what shocks me the most is no direct flights from NYC to Amsterdam or Germany or Scandinavia.

I really wish they'd beef up their mainland europe destinations as within the One World alliance there aren't many direct options. Most everything has to go through Madrid or London which is just sometimes a pain in the ....

One major reason I try to stick with AA is so I can upgrade, which sadly you can't do on the partner airlines ever. I've heard other alliances allow upgrades through all the partner airlines. That's one of the few major gripes I have with One World and AA.

Perhaps they might add some flights? Especially to Germany. Such a huge destination to not have from NYC. I know they fly direct or ORD but why no JFK? Does Lufthansa have a monopoly on it or something?

ANNOYING!
