It's unclear to me if you're being flippant. I didn't mention emailing SPG customer care. I didn't email SPG.
That is part of the problem. I remain put off by SPG using the "goodwill" notation. I don't see it worth the time and trouble it would take to email and explain it to them, though. So, the frustration continues. The downside is for Starwood, as the negative feelings are towards them on this issue.
To ward off the possibility of more flippancy, let me state that I am NOT thinking of leaving starwood over this matter.
