One side effect of their No-Sundays policy is that it allows them to be more attractive to workers and (especially) managers. Fast food store managers work an ungodly number of hours, and have to be available at a moment's notice when some crisis comes up.

Being able to assure employees that you will have at least one guaranteed day off that won't get overturned is a big draw.
