The last couple times I rented at LAX on Monday afternoons at around 5 PM, the ES and EA had very slim pickings. I talked to an agent and she said that it's always like that on Mondays. The agent said weekends are best days to pick up a car since the aisles are always full. Most of the times they're full of Grand Marquis. Sometimes you can get lucky when the aisles are empty as they will park almost any car that is washed and brought up into the ES. Last time I was able to get a Buck Enclave after waiting for a 10 minutes.
