Can anyone tell me what delta's fees are for golf clubs. I have a standard golf case (hard shell) and am traveling slc-lax-ogg-hnl-slc. I am taking a Hawaiian airlines flight from ogg to hnl along the way. I am a platinum member with delta. Wondering what the fees are on Delta and if anyone knows what Hawaiian airlines charges as well. I read on their website it is considered an oversize bag and costs 175 but not sure if this is correct or if this is waived with my status. Any help would be appreciated. Also does this come out of regular baggage when you make it to your destination or some kind of oversize baggage area?
