The only problem with this is that sticker upgrades are not in A or F inventory. I think they use up whatever seats are available, be it F or A, to upgrade with stickers at last minute (or hours depending on when you request it).
To my understanding, sticker upgrades (as I noticed on my boarding passes) are booked as "X" class, which is way of letting anyone know that stickers were used to upgrade.
