I must have stayed at ITC Maratha here a handful of times now over the last two years and the fact i keep gonig back says a lot.A few reasons why i decide to stay here and not at the Marriotts or the Hyatts .
- The staff at ITC Maratha is extremely warm and yet very professional. Everyone knows who you are , where you are from.
-The spa is super, the health club, just what one would expect.
- A Dining experience at Peshawri & Pan Asian always leaves you wanting for more.
This place is close to perfect unless you like the smaller, boutique style hotels.
I have stayed at the Maratha and agree that it is a nice place, but feel that there are better options near the airport, mainly the Grand Hyatt. I don't think you can reasonably compare the Maratha to any of the in-city properties. For me, at least, I cannot imagine staying near the airport if I had business to conduct in the city.
But, for the record, I do agree that the Maratha is a nice place to have a one night (or day) stop into or out of Mumbai.
