So if I take an unlocked iphone into a T store, I can get a "month-to-month" contract and use it just as I would with a contract?

The reason why I'm asking is because I could renew my T contract, and get a new iphone the "regular" way, but that would entail paying off some charges that I sincerely and rigthly dispute. Since T is being unreasonable, I am choosing to be unreasonable as well.

But I want an iphone again so bad!
