I'm not a great fan of row 1 on the 777, since you're rather near the galley and there's a small plastic window next to the bulkhead - it's hard to explain. I'd strongly recommend going for two blocks of seats next to the window. For the ex-LGW three class 777s I'd say the best seats are 4A and 4K, as you have a window seat without having to climb over someone else UNLESS you are on the one of newest 777s which have five rows before the galley, in which case it's 5A and 5K. (I made this mistake as I'm almost always in these seats and settle in on auto-pilot; only worked out that there were five rows in the new planes as I was sitting in someone else's seat!)
So, my recommendation is 3A/B and 4A/B, or the same on the other side. No idea where Barbados is relative to your seat. Under it, probably...
