"Later this year, Aeroplan will start allowing members to use their miles to upgrade from economy to business class. No need to save 85,000 miles to get one of those big, comfy seats up front for a return trip to Europe. Just pay full fare economy and use 40,000 of those carefully hoarded miles."

Is this fact or speculation? Have Aeroplan made an official announcement and if so does anyone have the terms and conditions, specifically which economy fare codes are eligible for an upgrade with miles?
