UPDATE: SQ uses different Star award system to NH, BD and US

I tried to book NZ tickets with my SQ miles - (Borat imitation....) GREAT SUCCESS!!

Apparently SQ is not using the same award system as BD, US and NH. SQ probably uses one closer to Expertflyer for Star Alliance award bookings!
