I'm in SEA trying to make flight changes through AS on my mac / Firefox. Can't get to KEF on FI so trying to get on earlier AS flights to ANC - to fill in a few days. Intermittently no AS web access - sometimes I can get seat maps, other times nothing - not even the web site. PITA.

Worse, a week ago, I brought forward a paid F SFO-SEA flight to yesterday and "thought" the AS web site had confirmed the change. Upon check-in at SFO yesterday, the agents knew nothing of the change and only just got me up here to SEA in Y via PDX.

I put this down to the web issue because while I was able to make web changes, the process seemed incomplete - in hindsight, the web site or whatever dropped out in the middle of the change and was not confirmed.

And OT: I bought an iPad and found it couldn't handle Hotmail in Safari (it consistently locked out in the middle of typing web addresses). The friendly staff in Apple SFO figured out how to make Hotmail work through the iPad mail icon and told me it was a Hotmail problem (not iPad) in that their software (Hotmail) needed to be upgraded to cope with the iPad.
