Good luck but, I think, you are stuck with the annual fee and it will not (and, IMHO, really should not) be refunded.

If, when you applied, you read the terms and conditions for this offer you would have seen the annual fee was NOT waived for the first year (as it sometimes is on other credit cards).

As far as I know, this 32 credits offer is a special targeted offer available only to those who received the e-mail (or, maybe, also sent out in snail mail).
