Any benefits to being AF to AF at CDG?

My sister (not an Elite, and not much of a flyer either) is landing on AF 1573 from Bristol UK, and then departing on AF 3510 to St Martin. She has 1:15 layover. Travel agent (in US) mocked me that this would be a problem. But it is 2E to 2C, and I know that trek has been tight for me in the past (and I go through Access #1).

If she goes via bus (not land-side) then will she have to go through security again when she gets to 2C?

Regards, John
p.s. I guess AF know what they are doing when they allow these connections?
