Searching out the flights with the lowest cost per mile/MQM/whatever does not really mesh with that goal.
I have a client that is a PM. He has to travel with 4 fam members to a funeral to CT. Cost per ticket $1000. Cost for bereavement ticket? $990. Is this the objective? Or to have fully sold planes/seats.

Returning to a MR I tried to have multiple seats on... As a shareholder, why did DL give back $2k for my seats then fly a plane that wasn't full on said MR??
