I tried again, using the tool to search the whole year for available flights, rather than the "book flights" option and it threw up some dates - not many (one next week, then no more outbound until November) but at least something.

I've noticed much weirder inconsistencies than this before in the redemption booking engine, so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.
