The recent volcano has put another nail in Ryanair's coffin.

My daughter was caught in Nice and Easyjet played things by the letter of the law, providing food and accommodation for an extra 5 nights before getting her back to teh UK yesterday.

Ryanair apparently told people to pay for their own food and accommodation and then get in touch with the airline once they were back. However they followed that up yesterday with a statement that they were limiting liability to the cost of the ticket which drives a coach and horses through the relevant EU regulations and is absolutely typical of their total disdain for passengers.
