If you saw the higher price when you changed the pickup time on your original reservation there's a good chance that there's some requirement of the original rate that's not being met by the new pickup time.
I see the higher price either way: if I get a fresh quote, or if I try to modify the existing reservation, even just by making the smallest possible change (making the pickup and dropoff times 30 minutes later or earlier).

I think my original rate was a limited-time offer. How does that affect what happens if I pick up a few hours late?
