I am always amazed that everyone complains about how inept Delta's computer system is, but then expect it to pick up details like this. I think the chances of this showing up anyone's screen at Delta are nil. For instance, I have allowed duplicate reservations to run for weeks without a peep. I would not hesitate to do what you are planning, but probably would recommend leaving out your SM number.
