I'm planning a trip where the return happens to coincide with 4th of July weekend. As it stands, I'm using a freedom award (and my soon-to-be companion pass... yay) for the return flight on July 4. I would really prefer to return on July 5, but it's a blackout day for RR. Does anyone know if they ever open up blackout dates to RR if it looks like the flight won't be very full? Just curious!
