I flew LGA-MIA-LAX yesterday and was set to fly LAX-MIA-LGA today. VDB'd and got rebooked onto LAX-JFK in J. Booking code on reservation online and on ticket said J.
My travel was neither roundtrip JFK-LAX-JFK, nor did I pay for a J fare. Technically, I probably shouldn't expect to get the bonus, but as noted up thread, its certainly possible.
Wondering what to expect and if anyone has yet had experience with bonus miles getting credited.
If I definitely won't be getting bonus miles, I will try and get original routing credit (which may or may not be granted, given it was a VDB). But if I should expect to get the bonus miles, I think I can pass up the 1,000 extra EQMs
No one has had any experience with this? No one has flown JFK-LAX, JFK-SFO or vice versa in Y, D, I, J, or F since this promo was announced 2 weeks ago?
My "bump to LAX-JFK in J" just posted this morning as this:

No TRNSN promotion miles, and no COS bonus (new reservation and BP both showed J as booking class).
Is it a mistake that I was not even given the COS bonus for the new booking in J (original ticket was in Y), or have AA's computers gotten that good? If they have, I should've at least gotten ORC for LAX-MIA-LGA in H.
