I have had it with Extended stay and other Efficiency Suites
I don't know why I keep staying in these sorts of places. When I am in my office planning trips I only seem to have budget in mind, but when I get there I kick myself.
On longer trips I will sometimes book at Extended or Staybridge Suites so I can have a kitchen and cook my own food..but it's always the same..the place stinks from all the cooking, smoke alarms are always going off, the bed is low quality, someone stole the cookware, most of the fixtures are broken, there are dirt-bag contractors getting drunk in the parking lot and tramping around at 6am, someone has dogs, and they never provide shampoo. There are dried bits of weed on the night stand and the ac unit makes noise. I could change rooms, but it would be the same.
I have yet to have a good experience at one of these types of places. A month long stay would be a nightmare. I don't know how people do it. Last week I was in a Marriott resort!
