Why is it that as soon as something functional becomes popular, business come along to buy them out, remove the functionality (or/and accessibility) and dumb the whole thing down with a pot of gloss.
Why can products, services and businesses, particularly those involved in IT and the Internet, remain fragmented rather than consolidated to a few mega corporations?
